Just like humans, AI does better with context. Think about exactly what you want the AI to generate, and provide a prompt that's tailored specifically to that.
Basic prompt: "Write a poem about leaves falling." Better prompt: "Write a poem in the style of Edgar Allan Poe about leaves falling."
Basic prompt: "Write about how to house train a dog." Better prompt: "As a professional dog trainer, write an email to a client who has a new 3-month-old Corgi about the activities they should do to house train their puppy."

While the increased character limit is a huge plus at the same time I find myself going back to chatgpt regularly because of the custom instructions. That was just such a great feature openai added that is sorely missed in Claude.

Great advice. Love the look of the new filters. Hands are a bugbear so the improvements with filters and your workarounds are great. Hopefully PlaygroundAI will incorporate some photo-editing style functionality e.g. inverse selection so you can mask the areas you want to keep, click invert and save a lot of time.

Thanks for doing a review on this new AI tool! This might be a good option for non-designers. However if you have any skill with typography it’s still 100x better to do it yourself in my opinion. I imagine in 5 years (probably less), Mid Journey or similar apps will be able to render perfect vector typography and lettering styles based on prompts but we’re not nearly there yet.
I wouldnt mind this type of an intro from now on. 😆

The missing piece for me is not having the ability to face clone - I would like to personalize the avatar to my own face for use in education. This technology is already available. Bizzarly, there is no feedback portal on their website for suggestions from potential customers, itself not a great optic compared to other innovative tech companies.

(For all new users) it takes time and commitment to raise Replika well, the training phase can take a month or two. Two basic phases training and learning to apply what it learns, after that its good to go
It's refreshing to have a video from someone who actually makes an effort to get to know their Replika, rather than just saying a bunch of snarky stuff.
I experimented with Replika for a week discussing philosophy, existentialism, and the future of AI. The first two days were ok, but as the week progressed it was able to go quite deep, and even asked some deep questions that actually shocked me.
